My soul the music touches! Certain music makes memories arise from the depths of the soul. A first kiss, a warm sunny day, a start of a friendship - all these moments evoke melodious sounds from memorable songs. Painful or soothing, these moments are worthy of remembrance, and the music embraces them all!
ReplyDeleteHappy or sad, fast or slow, loud or soft, music plays a major role in my life. If I am not listening to music, there is --without a doubt-- a song playing in my head. I love listening to a variety of music, as long as I am not exposed to country, rap, or 80's pop. I apologize to you if you happen to enjoy these genres, but I must confess that it is more enjoyable to listen to a baby scream endlessly than to be subjected to those tortuous sounds.

Music is , even if sometimes too much, a very good way to express your self. I to listen to music to entertain, and enjoy myself. Country or rock, I enjoy listening to. I can also listen to some Christian music, but Rap is about as bad music can get.

Music plays a major role in my life, especially country music. Life or death, love or heartbreak, partying or getting arrested country music covers nearly every emotion and experience in life. Country music is like the biography of the life of an average American detailing their highest highs and lowest lows and everywhere in between. LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH, LOSE those are the major themes by the famous country artists like Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and many, many more. Whether its cheering me up, calming me down, makeing me cry, or makeing me laugh country music depicts and narrates my life with the words and the stories, that is why I love it so much because I can relate to what the artists are singing about and put myself in their position and feel what they are feeling! What is your favorite type of music??????

Memorable songs for me are ones that relate to me. When I hear a song I like, it seems so familiar to me. For example the first time I put Black Sheep Boy by Okkervil River, it felt like This CD had been in my life for ever. I don't think that you can just make a song which relates to everbody and is memorable for everybody. It has to be the listener who dicides what is memorable to them. Or if your writing a song for someone, it might be memorable to them. Flowery language is how some like to think they make their music memorable. A good way to hit varietys of people is to have a story which is kind of coded. So it can mean differant things to differant people. Does everybody have the same life? No, so why should they have the same music?

Sometime a song will be in your head and you keep replaying it all day, that music sets the mood for the day. Music for your day can be energetic. Music for your day can be slow. Music for your day can be down right sad. Music can influence someones emotions, thinking, and actions. It is so powerful.

Music is a major part of everyone's life. Almost everyday after school, I go down to the basement, get on my computer, and just blast some music while doing my homework. It soothes me and just let's me relax. Actually, right now as I'm writing this, I'm listening to Johnathan Coulton singing a song about being a Zombie. Listening to music is just a great way to pass the time.

Music is, without a doubt, one of my major passions. If I had to live my life without ever listening to music again, I would die. A form of art, music most definitely is. Along with listening to music, I enjoy watching shows on television as well as documentaries about the creative processes that musicians go through and the difficult lives they most often lead.

What is music? music, as defined by dictionary.com, is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms. Fast or slow, loud or soft, all music is an art form. We will all disagree with what kind of music is great. Some like country, some like rock, and some like rap. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music as long as i like the rhythm and message being made. My mood also changes what i listen to. Music is a major part of my life.

How could someone not love Bob Dylan? His complex song structures, unique voice, and continued relevance make him a truly distinct character in the history of popular music. His sixth album, Highway 61 Revisited, is widely hailed as one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time and is revered to this day. Allen Ginsberg once commented on Dylan saying that he was able to bring high art to a jukebox like no one else had and there's no way I can disagree.

Music is everywhere. It is in the movies we watch, the cars we drive, and the ipods we listen to. The great musical masterpieces we hear on the radio or download from the internet are as universal as the paintings of Rembrandt or as everlasting as words of Hamlet. Music is truly the most influential and most widely acccepted of all art forms mainly because, our schooling systems have not morphed it into something that can be learned in a book. Music has been taught as an extra-curricular subject for years and many institutions have not forced it upon their students. People either got it, or they didnt. End of Story. But, many other, less accepted arts, such as the arts of writing and poetry, have been forced upon students and become less accepted and eventually hated. Why force an art onto someone who truly can not get it? The arts are about more than books and definitions, so lets make them that way, so they can be accepted be all.
